John west Warwickshire Arts week

As part of Warwickshire Arts Week John’s paintings will be on display at the Venue Xpresso, 8 High Street, Alcester in a joint exhibition with five other artists.
There will be an additional display in The Church House, by the Parish Church tower on Saturday 12 July.
His painting showing his proposed Royal Shakespeare Theatre auditorium design will be on display at the Stratford upon Avon Leisure in the Art Gallery on the first floor. This design if selected would have conserved Elizabeth Scott’s building and provide a new auditorium based on that of The Old Vic. It would have re-instated the lost art deco panelling and maintained the original auditorium doors and details now destroyed by the barbaric scheme that is now underway.
Warwickshire Arts Week runs form 5 until 20 July 2008.
