Commission Artwork undertaken by myself

As a result of my interest in waterways I visited a pub in Bradford upon Avon with members of the Kennet and Avon Canal Society. They were interested in selling canalware to the proprietors. The result was that as the Licensees did not like the conventional signs that the company were doing I was commissioned to re-sign the whole pub and then paint traditional roses on the interior as well.

My interests include theatres and cinemas and as a result of my additional interest in the cinema organ the Cinema Organ Society approached me to design a new brochure for them. It features my airbrush rendering of the consol of a famous Wurlitzerorgan still in situ in one of the former Granada theatres and a stylised rendering of the pipe work as a background to the text.

As a result of my interest in music someone I knew on the music scene asked if I was interested in painting wall murals for their company head office. This turned out to be Punch Taverns. The result can be seen here (below). As they wanted a very quick change over a weekend most of the work was painted on panels and installed between the offices closing on a Friday evening and re-opening on the Monday morning with additional painting being done directly on the walls and ceiling.
